LGBTI Awareness eLearningLGBTI Awareness eLearning is for anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people and communities. It will introduce you to the LGBTI acronym, expand your understanding of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and bodies. Pride Training also offers an exclusive eLearning on LGBTI Awareness in the aged care sector that quickly and easily gives your staff an introduction to the core principles of working in an inclusive way with older LGBTI people. World AIDS Day – 1 December 2019And that is a wrap for Red Ribbon Appeal 2019. We want to say a BIG BIG BIG BIG THANK YOU to all of you! ACON is so amazed by the generosity, compassion and spirit of our communities and we would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all for getting behind this year's Red Ribbon Appeal! It has been a spectacular three days and we are blown away by your love, enthusiasm and support. To all the amazing volunteers, LGBT venues, shops, corporations, community orgs, local businesses, sector partners and communities that supported the Red Ribbon Appeal - thank you. This campaign would not happen without your support and for that, we are so grateful! And of course, to all that hosted a Red Ribbon event, stocked a Red Ribbon box, shared a Red Ribbon post, bought a Red Ribbon, shook a Red Ribbon pail, dropped change into Red Ribbon bucket, sold a Red Ribbon or wore a Red Ribbon - THANK YOU! Your contribution is making a real difference to ACON’s work in preventing new HIV transmissions, tackling HIV stigma and supporting people living with HIV. |
