Lesbian Visibility Day, April 26

April 26 is the International Lesbian Visibility Day, a day that acknowledges the rich diversity within our community, and celebrates our stories, culture and history. The day is also an opportunity to knock down some of the stereotypes about what it means to be a lesbian.

Lesbian Visibility Day celebrates lesbian role models and lesbian culture and diversity, as well as raises awareness of the issues that lesbians have to face: from health need disparities to struggles they face with the discrimination, abusive language, violence, and neglect. Yet it is a great opportunity to celebrate their resilience and contributions to the LGBTIQA+ community.

ACON Welcome Here Project provides a wide range of fabulous posters and resources on diversity days and you can show your support for all communities using them.
