Strengthen your allyship skills and build confidence in supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion through practical, everyday actions.
Being an ally is more than good intentions, it’s an ongoing practice that involves awareness, reflection, and the confidence to act. Many people want to support LGBTQ+ communities but feel unsure about what allyship looks like in real situations, how to speak up, or how to navigate moments of uncertainty with respect and care.
This 90‑minute workshop creates space to explore the purpose and impact of allyship, while building the practical skills needed to show up for LGBTQ+ people in meaningful ways. Developed by LGBTQ+ community members and subject matter experts, the session blends discussion, real‑world scenarios, and interactive activities to help you understand what effective allyship looks like, both in everyday interactions and in moments that require courage or advocacy.
You’ll learn how to recognise opportunities to be an ally, respond confidently when challenges arise, and use your voice to help create safer, more inclusive environments. Whether you’re supporting colleagues, clients, friends, or community members, this workshop equips you with the tools to make a positive difference, whether it is big or small.
